Meet and greet at the tourist information counter on the 1st floor of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park Rest House.

We will introduce the traces of the atomic bombing that remain inside the rest house, and also guide you to places deeply related to the characters appearing in the VR experience story.

VR experience ①: You will have a VR experience before the atomic bombing, the moment the atomic bomb is dropped, and immediately after the atomic bombing.

VR experience ②: You will experience Hiroshima after the atomic bombing.

You will experience what Eizo Nomura, who escaped to the opposite bank of the Atomic Bomb Dome, saw immediately after the atomic bombing.

VR experience ③: In the first half, I will tell you about the cityscape that became a sea of fire with testimonies from A-bomb survivors. In the second half, I will tell you an episode where people stood up despite being devastated and began to walk towards reconstruction.

How did the Industrial Promotion Hall (now the Atomic Bomb Dome) crumble under the impact of the atomic bomb. You will see footage of how the Atomic Bomb Dome came to look as it does today.

I would like to introduce students at the time in front of the Mobilized Student Memorial Tower, which was built to comfort the spirits of students who were engaged in labor service to make up for labor shortages during World War II and the approximately 10,000 students who were victims of the atomic bomb.

VR experience ⑤: It tells how people stood up and started walking even in the midst of chaos, and an episode where the city of Hiroshima was undergoing reconstruction while leaving buildings exposed to the atomic bomb. I appeal for peace for the future so as not to repeat the same mistakes.

Finally, you will be asked to express your own thoughts on paper, such as what you felt and thought through the tour.
