Tsuruga City is a Kitamaebune port of call with a number of components of the Japan Heritage Site “A Different Space Spun by Dreams of Men Who Crossed Rough Waves ~ Kitamaebune Port of Call and Shipowner Village ~”. “Handmade oboro kombu” is a local industry due to the food culture brought about by Kitamaebune. You will see and experience the craftsmanship rooted in this area. It comes with eating and comparing shabby kombu and eating snacks.
