We are a company that has been pursuing the deliciousness of noodles for over 90 years, with three generations of parents and children “sleeping or waking up, udon.” Aiming for Sanuki udon that is more delicious than anywhere else, we use the traditional manufacturing method “foot fumi manufacturing method,” where craftsmen spare no time and effort to stretch the dough that has been confirmed by stepping on each sheet with their own feet, and use the “knife cutting method” to make noodles with a square cross section with strong elasticity with a sharp edge.

We are introducing to everyone a “handmade udon manufacturing method that can be easily made at home,” which arranges this particular manufacturing method.

While learning about the history of udon and why udon has grown as a food culture in Kagawa Prefecture, let's have fun making delicious udon together. Also, you can eat the udon you make hot or cold as you like, and enjoy it with tempura or Sanuki oden.

Experience schedule

Meet at Sanuki Noodles Hyogomachi store 10 minutes before the event

① Check in on the 1st floor (5 minutes) (please go up to the 3rd floor via the stairs on the left side of the store)

② Advance preparation on the 3rd floor (wear gloves and aprons) and explanation of precautions (10 minutes)

③ Explanation of the history of udon and why udon developed in Kagawa Prefecture (10 minutes)

④ Handmade udon making experience (40 minutes)

⑤ Commemorative photo (5 minutes)

⑥ Meal preparation on the 2nd floor, create a certificate of completion on your smartphone (20 minutes)

⑦ Meal using homemade udon (30 minutes)
