In the morning, a guide will take you through Wakimachi's Udatsu Townscape, where the indigo trade once thrived. Learn from the locals themselves all the secrets of "udatsu"!

Lunch will be served at Yoshida Family Residence, the former home of Naobei Yoshida, one of the most famous indigo merchants in Wakimachi. The meal consists of fresh seasonal ingredients served in a "yusanbako" box that residents of Tokushima historically used when venturing into the mountains. In the afternoon, tour the indigo fields at Yamauchi, then try your hand at indigo dyeing! You can make your own unique pattern on a canvas bag or scarf for the perfect souvenir.

10:00 Roadside Station Ai Land Udatsu parking lot, near the toilets --- Walking around Udatsu with a guide [Yoshida family residence (city-designated cultural property), Mori family (post office, clinic), Masaki family (indigo warehouse), Shogi master Gohei Ono's house, Mimura workshop (Mima Wagasa workshop)] --- 11:00 Yoshida family residence for lunch --- 13：30 Indigo dyeing experience at Yamauchi Co. + visiting the indigo fields & indigo making (April to November) Just visiting the indigo fields (October to February) --- 15:30 Tour end.
