The Kakuozan district in Nagoya began with the construction of Nittaiji Temple (1904), which was the only place in Japan that was built to house the true bones of Buddha, which has been proven to be “authentic,” and during the same period, businessman villas (example: Matsuzakaya's first president Ito Jirozaemon Yumin's villa) and educational periods (Showa Jukudo) were built, and it became a town where Nagoya's husbands and cultural figures gathered to create a unique atmosphere.
