This trip, which goes around 88 sacred sites while going around Shikoku, continues to be loved by many people for over 1200 years. Among them, the Tokushima Prefecture route, which walks through the first 12 temples, is popular as a “mental trip” to prepare the mind and body suitable for the beginning of the pilgrimage. Please spend a special time facing yourself in nature, such as steep mountain trails, mossy stone steps, expansive rural scenery, and the farthest cape jutting out into the Pacific Ocean. Furthermore, you can also experience the entertainment culture “OSETTAI” unique to Shikoku, and the hospitality of the local people will be heartwarming.

Surrounded by expansive fields and beautiful landscapes adorned with seasonal flowers, you'll enjoy walking through nature. Afterwards, you will cross a low-water bridge to reach Fujiidera, experiencing the harmony of Shikoku’s nature and culture.
Day 3:
The route from the eleventh temple, Fujiidera, to the twelfth temple, Shosanji, is known as one of the most challenging sections of the pilgrimage, referred to as the “Ohenro Korogashi” (pilgrim tumbler). In this course, you will visit the 1st temple, Ryozenji, to the 12th temple, Shosanji, over the course of 4 days.
Even if it's your first pilgrimage, you can join with peace of mind, as a local guide will accompany you, carefully explaining the proper pilgrimage etiquette, the history of the pilgrimage, and the teachings of Kobo Daishi.
