Visitors can see and experience Matsue's traditional techniques that have supported the culture of the tea ceremony. You can make your own wagashi (Japanese sweets) while learning the techniques from the artisans. You can also visit a tea factory and experience matcha (powdered green tea) in a tea room. For lunch, you will eat tai-meshi, which is said to have been a favorite of the lord of Matsue.
