The Sado Island Gold Mines, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2024 for their cultural significance, are the only place in the world where mining, ore selection, smelting, and refining techniques from the past remain so well preserved. Alongside these sites are remnants of mining villages and administrative offices, offering a glimpse into the island’s historic production system.

This tour is packed with the best of Sado Island, including a visit to Obata Sake Brewery’s School Brewery, which repurposes an old school building into a sustainable brewery, promoting the circular use of Sado's resources, energy, and people. You’ll also experience Sado’s vibrant traditional culture with a hands-on encounter with the 'Onidaiko' (Demon Drum Dance) at Sadoya Nippon, a cultural hub celebrating the island’s artistic heritage.

* Conditions for Cancellation:

Cancellations may occur due to rough seas or poor visibility. The decision is made based on a combination of various data, including wave height, swells, wind strength and direction, and visibility. If weather warnings such as typhoon or wave warnings are issued for Niigata Prefecture, there is a possibility of cancellation. However, please note that the issuance of warnings is only a guideline, and the decision to cancel is not solely based on whether or not warnings are issued.

[Please read carefully and acknowledge before applying]

In the event that the outbound jetfoil is canceled, if the cost of the trip changes due to changes in contract conditions (the cancellation fee for travel services not provided due to such changes, as well as any fees already paid or that will need to be paid in the future, will be offset), we will refund the difference.
