“Kuma River Kuddling Clear Stream Course”

It is a traditional experience that has continued for over 100 years, using a wooden boat to go down the “Kuma River” that flows through the Hitoyoshi-Kuma region of Kumamoto prefecture.
The Kuma River is known as Japan's top three rapids, and this course takes about 40 minutes to enjoy a relatively calm section.
Please enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season and an elegant moment to be washed away by the chirping of wild birds.
Also pay attention to the skills and guidance of boatmen, which have a tradition of over 100 years.
You will board the ship from the popular tourist facility “HASSENBA,” which has been reborn with glass walls.

Precautions
Reservations must be made for 2 people or more.
Please complete boarding procedures at HASSENBA at least 20 minutes before departure.
After disembarking, a free shuttle bus will operate. The course takes approximately 60 minutes, including a return shuttle bus.
Since safe operation is emphasized during periods of increased flooding or droughts, we will guide you on the “Kuma River Sightseeing Boat Plum Blossom Crossing.” Thank you for your kind understanding.
