Onyujima (Onyujima) floats in Saeki Bay facing the Bungo Channel.

It is 5 minutes by bicycle from Saiki Station to the ferry terminal. From there, I arrived at Oirushima Island after a 7-minute cruise ♪

Bicycles are E-BIKES (electrically assisted bicycles) introduced in 2024, so

Anyone can pedal surprisingly lightly to move forward.

(The entire route will be cycled for about 15 km)

On the island, you can visit an oyster farm with condensed umami called “Oirushima oyster”

We will guide you to a handkerchief dyeing experience using the branches and leaves of the island's specialty yamamono, and to Funakurashi called “Umi Hosomichi,” a scenic spot unique to the coast.

For lunch, we have prepared a special menu using fish and vegetables harvested on the island (and Oirushima oysters, of course!)

One of the pleasures is talking with the people who live on the island.

※We are unable to visit oyster farms on Saturdays, so we will guide you to another location.
