① Experience a sake brewery with 220 years of history

Tsuji Honten was founded in 1804 in Mimasaka-Katsuyama in northern Okayama prefecture. I will carefully explain sake brewing unique to this region while touching rice, water, and koji. You can learn about the region, culture, history, and feelings through representative brands of aperitif sake.

② Drink and compare Japanese sake with different flavors under various conditions

Even if the ingredients are the same rice and koji, the taste of sake is completely different depending on conditions. Among them, you can actually compare drinks by changing the temperature, drinking vessels, and aging conditions. In particular, aged sake is not for sale and can only be experienced at the brewery. You can learn about the depth and complexity of Japanese sake.

③ Walk through the brewery and observe the actual equipment

The brewery will guide you through the equipment that makes sake. You can enjoy the power of rice washers, coolers, preparation tanks, etc. not through glass, but by actually looking at them.

④ Brewery lunch and a special aperitif just for this plan

Enjoy cuisine using ingredients unique to the brewery, such as sake lees and koji, at a directly managed restaurant that has been renovated from a storage warehouse. As an aperitif, we will specially prepare the finest sake “Tokuto-omachi 2.2.” (Normally cannot be ordered as an aperitif)
