Please enjoy the legendary hagi that can only be eaten in Sendai and sells 5,000 pieces a day! There are 3 types sold throughout the year: red bean paste, soybean paste, and sesame. It's a supermarket where people line up to eat rice even on weekdays.
■Rairi Gorge
This beautiful gorge is covered by giant rocks and stones eroded by the Natori River.
If you look down from Nozomi Bridge, there is a natural heart-shaped rock depression certified as a “sacred place for lovers,” and it is also popular as a photo spot.
■Akiu Falls
A direct waterfall with a width of 6 meters and a height of 55 meters, selected as one of Japan's top 100 waterfalls and designated as a national scenic spot.
In addition to being able to see the whole picture from the waterfall stand, you can also go down the promenade from the side of Fudo Takibashi and go down to the waterfall basin in about 5 to 10 minutes. The area around the waterfall basin is impressive, with the falling waterfall droplets becoming fog.
※The promenade to the waterfall basin continues on a steep slope. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
